The largest city on the island, Fukuoka formed through the merger of two former cities that had grown up either side of the Naka River.
On the 13th (Mon), enjoy the sand and surf at Nijino Matsubara, look for gifts at Ito Sai Sai, then buy something for everyone on your list at Marizon, then take a stroll through Shintencho Shopping Street, and finally browse the different shops at Tenjin Underground Shopping Center. On the next day, let the kids burn off some steam at Ohori Park, take a stroll through Nishijin Shopping District, then savor the flavors at Asahi Breweries Hakata Brewery, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Dazaifu Tenman-gu, and finally soak in some Japanese tradition at some of the top local onsens.

Singapore, Singapore to Fukuoka is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Fukuoka. Traveling from Singapore in April, expect Fukuoka to be cooler, temps between 23°C and 13°C.
