Traveling from Manama in September, you will find days in Kyoto are a bit cooler (33°C), and nights are much colder (23°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Fri) early enough to travel to Miyakojima.

Getting from Kyoto to Miyakojima by flight takes about 5.5 hours. Traveling from Kyoto in September, expect a bit warmer with lows of 30°C in Miyakojima. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sun) early enough to travel to Iriomote-jima.

Do a combination of flight and ferry from Miyakojima to Iriomote-jima in 5.5 hours. In September, plan for daily highs up to 37°C, and evening lows to 30°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Ishigaki.

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.

You can ride a ferry from Iriomote-jima to Ishigaki in 2 hours. In September in Ishigaki, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 30°C at night. On the 10th (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
