Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pantheon, explore the engaging exhibits at Welcome to Rome, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Louis of the French, and finally explore the ancient world of Colosseum. On the 4th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, and then explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill.

New Delhi, India to Rome is an approximately 11.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference when traveling from New Delhi to Rome is minus 4 hours. Traveling from New Delhi in February, you will find days in Rome are much colder (16°C), and nights are slightly colder (5°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) to allow time to take a train to Florence.
