It's the mild climate and calm seas of Pula that draw visitors to the southernmost point of the Istrian peninsula, but the city's ample Roman architecture is a key reason they stay.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Food & Wine station Trapan and Katedrala Sv. Jakova. Get some cultural insight at Museum Olei Histriae and Amphitheatre de Pula. There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastery and Church of St. Francis, identify plant and animal life at Lima Bay, see the interesting displays at Istrian de Dignan - Ecomuseum, and discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
