Few places in the world boast such a long history and such a rich multiethnic culture as Jerusalem, a city sacred to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Mahane Yehuda Market and Ophir Jewelry. Escape the urban bustle at Masada National Park and Tayelet. When in Jerusalem, make a side trip to see Jaffa Old City in Jaffa, approximately 1h 05 min away. At the northern extreme of the Red Sea sits Eilat, a resort town popular with domestic and international tourists.
On the 13th (Sat), get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Underwater Observatory Marine Park, then explore the gorgeous colors at Coral Beach Nature Reserve, and then explore the gorgeous colors at Dolphin Reef. You can do a combination of train and flight from Haifa to Eilat in 3 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. While traveling from Haifa, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Eilat, ranging from highs of 47°C to lows of 32°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
