Continuously inhabited since the Neolithic period, Killarney draws visitors with its picturesque natural scenery, fine restaurants, and traditional pubs.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Blarney Castle & Gardens and St. Patrick's Church. Step out of the city life by going to Killarney National Park and Dingle Sheepdogs Demonstrations & Trials. Venture out of the city with trips to Dingle (Nature & Wildlife Tours & Dolphin & Whale Watching) and Kinsale (Irish Veterans Museum & Charles Fort). There's still lots to do: admire the natural beauty at Muckross House, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Holy Cross Church, view the masterpieces at Peter Cox Photography Gallery, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Templenoe Burial.
