Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): step into the grandiose world of Chehel Sotoun, step into the grandiose world of Ali Qapu Palace, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and finally steep yourself in history at Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Tehran to Isfahan is an approximately 1.5- hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Isfahan when traveling from Tehran in March, with lows around 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Yazd.

You can drive from Isfahan to Yazd in 4 hours. Other options are to fly; or take a train. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Isfahan in March: high temperatures in Yazd hover around 25°C and lows are around 10°C. On the 17th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Shiraz.
