People visit Manali for a number of reasons, but all of them revolve around the landscape.Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): contemplate the waterfront views at Beas River and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Hidimba Devi Temple. Keep things going the next day: identify plant and animal life at Manali Sanctuary and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib.

The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Shanti Stupa and Khardung La.
