Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.On the 1st (Sat), steep yourself in history at Palatine Hill and then explore the ancient world of Colosseum. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of Roman Forum, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, make a trip to St. Peter's Basilica, then admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, and finally make a trip to Trevi Fountain.
