One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Fri): take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, then don't miss a visit to Bukchon Hanok Village, and then take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace. On the 9th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stop by Insadong, then admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and then admire the natural beauty at Namsan Park.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In November, daily temperatures in Seoul can reach 13°C, while at night they dip to 3°C. You will have some time to spend on the 10th (Sun) before leaving for Gangneung.

Gangneung

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Sun): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Woljeongsa Temple. On the next day, head outdoors with Gyeongpo Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Jeongdongjin Beach, and then examine the collection at Ojukheon.

Drive from Seoul to Gangneung in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Donghae.

Wonju is the most populous city in Gangwon province, South Korea.Wonju is a city approximately east of Seoul and the capital can be reached within 1hr 20 minutes by bus or train. On the 16th (Sat), take in the views from Wonju Sogeumsan Mountain Suspension Bridge and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Guryongsa Temple.
