As a World Heritage Site, Sighisoara is visited mostly for its fortified Old Town surrounded entirely by city walls.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): take in the views from Scara Acoperita-Covered Stairway, appreciate the extensive heritage of Sighisoara Historic Center, look for gifts at The Spoonman, then take in the exciting artwork at Art & Crafts, and finally delve into the mystery of Casa Vlad Dracul. On the next day, don't miss a visit to Sighisoara Clock Tower, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church on the Hill, and then pause for some serene contemplation at The Fortified Church of Biertan.
