The Birthplace of Democracy

One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Temple of Poseidon, Areopagus, Philopappos Hill, and other attractions. History remains the main attraction in Corinth, a city built near the site of its fabled ancient counterpart.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Rio-Antirrio Bridge (Charilaos Trikoupis), Corinth Canal and Archea Korinthos. Attractions like Akrokorinthos and Moni Osiou Patapiou make great kid-friendly stops. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Corinth: Xylokastro (Ekklisia Agios Vlasios & Church of the Holy Trinity) and Mycenae (Archaeological Site Mycenae & Lion Gate).
