Best known for its 1692 witch trials, Salem has a number of significant historical sites, a bustling downtown, and many witch-themed attractions.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Sat): explore the different monuments and memorials at Old Burying Point Cemetery, contemplate the long history of The House of the Seven Gables, then explore the world behind art at Peabody Essex Museum, then take an in-depth tour of Salem Witch Museum, and finally admire the masterpieces at Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery.
