This small museum is really worth a visit, especially with children ( > 5 years). The museum is all operated by volunteers, mostly retired craftsman from printing companies. They demonstrate the... more »

Heerlijk kleinschalig museum gerund door vrijwilligers. Relatief weinig ‘geforceerd’ zoals (kinder-) activiteiten, vergeleken met de grotere en veelal commercieel aandoende musea. Ook een kleinschalige horeca is aanwezig met voldoende ruimte voor het eventueel nabespreken van je bezoek met je gezelschap. Tevens een winkeltje met o.a. eigen drukwerk op zelf geschept papier.

Lovely small museum run by volunteers. Relatively little ' forced ' such as (children's) activities, compared to the larger and often commercially-appealing museums. A small-scale catering company is also present with plenty of space for any further discussion of your visit with your party. Also a small shop with own printed paper.

Leuk museum om te bezoeken als je in Meppel bent. Door de speurtocht van de kinderen heb ik het hele museum kunnen zien. Wij waren ongeveer 45 minuten onder de pannen.

Nice museum to visit if you are in Meppel. Through the treasure hunt of the children I have been able to see the whole museum. We were about 45 minutes under the pans.
