Molen De Adriaan Museum, Haarlem

A Haarlem landmark for over two centuries, Molen De Adriaan Museum sits in the center of the city and provides insight about the history and architecture of Dutch windmills. Built in 1778 and badly damaged during a 1932 fire, the structure recently underwent a major reconstruction. Carefully restored to its old glory, the windmill is again fully functional, though not often in use.
