At 400 m (1,312 ft), Mon Bridge ranks among the world's longest bridges. It takes you from Song Kalia river to Mon Village, where you can sample the local food at a market stall or head to the temple. The bridge has been fully restored and certified as safe since heavy rainfall and a buildup of weeds caused it to collapse in 2013. Bring your camera, as the views of the surrounding areas from the bridge are spectacular. Mon Bridge Reviews
We began to depart from Bangkok about 3 pm. Around 5-6 hours, it's a mon bridge (if the night drive should fill the tank before leaving Sai Yoke). Since the Sai-yoke is no longer a pump, you can reach Sangkhla, two of them in the bridge. If anyone hasn't booked the room before, don't worry. In the morning, 6 a.m. a morning alms. If anyone wants to wear a folk suit, there are several rental shops. Affordable price I walked to the market and the food was a bargain. Before the boat, take a tour of the temple under the water.
Une belle surprise que ce pont en bois qui relie au village Birman. Magnifique paysage, ambiance agréable. Les Mon sont très souriants et sympatiques. A faire sans hésiter. more »A nice surprise that this wooden bridge that connects to the Burmese village. Beautiful scenery, pleasant atmosphere. The Mon are very smiling and friendly. To do without hesitation.
Mon bridge, literally the bridge of dreams. It was romantic and scenic especially when the sun start rising. It becomes vibrant later on when visitors, hawkers and kids release their energy at a higher level. Breathtaking views emerge at sunset and it becomes romantic again as lovers strolling along the bridge embracing the warm breeze across the water. In addion to linking people of both villages, the old wooden formation has also demonstrated a strong sence of harmony between mother nature and inhabitants living on both sides for centuries. It's a must see when visiting Sangkla Buri!
