Very relaxing place in which you can escape from the chaos of the city taking some time for yourself staying in touch with nature. At the same time you can have some relaxing shopping at the many wood shop in the village. You can find many many wonderful handmade local items. If you're staying in Chang Mai for sometime, than you should definitely spend at least one night in one of the amazing bugalows in Kad Salaa. Or even stay here as volunteer for sometime. The owner are nice and welcoming. If you ask them they can also teach you a couple traditional recipes of thai cousine!

Beautiful, relaxing environment that would be perfect for someone looking to escape the city for a few nights and enjoy peace and quiet. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops nearby, plus the woodworking community within Kad Sala. Hosts are very kind and friendly.
