  • The beach from our hotel is just a short walk away. We were happy, of course. We settled on the warm sand (maybe take a sunbed and an umbrella, but we were with our mat) and then our eyes fell on the dog from the coastal cafe. She did not hesitate to go knee-deep in the sea and can be seen so habitually did all her dog's business. Everything was washed away in the sea to the bathers, and she cheerfully ran to her home.... That's after that we packed up and went to Kata Noi))) I love dogs, I have two of them, but here's a close contak with their kakah I did not cause delight. Kata Noah was clean, bright and without dogs!

  • I love a good beach and this one is very nice and safe for swimming. Just don't like that there's too many tourists. But it's a little quieter than another one nearby. If you prefer something a little quieter but still with a nice atmosphere then give this one a try.
  • The beach itself was top notch. It was tranquil and beautiful, definitely one of the nicer places I’ve been to in Thailand. But the locals here, polar opposite. Especially the parachute service providers, they’re straight up gangsters. I was walking along the beach and accidentally stepped over one of the ropes they use for the parachute, and the old man that was hauling it in swore at me. When I turned around to look at him, two other guys gangged up threatened to fight me, so I kept walking. One of them shouted out confirming that he will “f*ck me”... thanks, I guess? The whole ordeal was quite tense, in fact I’ll be sleeping with an open eye tonight, just in case. Do come here for the crystal blue sea, but do not come here expecting to be treated like a human being. And keep your interactions with the locals to a bare minimum, or else they will “f*ck you”, especially the parachute folks. Or better yet, just go where you’re welcomed, in this case, away from Kata Beach.
