  • There’s no doubt that this temple and the grounds are beautiful. And of course it would be better it nobody else was there but there is a reason we all decided to go; it is a tourist spot to enjoy...  more »
  • Stunning place. Really helps you to absorb the culture. You can take steps or cable car, both good. Really lovely place to see monks practising and very peaceful. Stunning at sunset.  more »
  • I visited at night which turned out to be amazing. The gold really stands out and the peacefulness of this place can be felt. Not a lot of traffic around 7pm when I visited. Some great eateries nearby too. Find the white elephant inside after climbing the 300 plus steps!
  • Little touristy but I guess you have to live up with that. It's well maintained and the souvenirs shop over there are pretty interesting. We found some interesting goods at good deal (Please Bargain). I just felt in love with the Buddha Painting which I got there!!! Also, the food stalls out there are worth trying. Do visit if you are in Chang Mai.
