Little known by tourists, Pikanesuan Devalai Chiangmai is an oasis of calm in a busy and crowded area near the old town and the night market. Located just off the main road, the small temple is richly decorated and boasts a large 2 m (6.6 ft) idol of Lord Ganesha--Elephant God revered by Hindus and Buddhists alike.
