Children's Discovery Museum, Bangkok

#2 of 8 in Childrens Museums in Thailand
Children’s Museum · Museum
Get busy with the entertaining and educational activities at Children's Discovery Museum. The museum's hands-on approach to learning engages kids in multicolored, multi-story settings across eight different sections in three buildings. Exhibits include the human body, mechanics, and culture, but most little ones will rush to the bone-reassembling dinosaur detective area or the water play zone (swimwear required). The facilities provide showers and baby changing stations. Expect crowds over the weekend; plenty of eating options cluster nearby. • The museum is for little kids, probably older than mine (5 and 2). It contains several sections and plenty of information, however, what I didn't particularly like was the lack of staff around the...  more »
  • We enjoyed our visit here. They create lots of learning and fun opportunities for an staggering number of school children in Bangkok. Both impressive and heart warming.
  • We took our kids 7, 5, 2 to the discovery museum today. The kids were very excited to be in a space for them. It is still free entry to get in but a PASSPORT is required for entry so be sure not to forget that. The spray park looked awesome but we decided to head inside and check out the various areas. The large outdoor playground looked awesome but was sadly closed. The library is a great space with a lot of English speaking books for all levels. A lot of the science exhibits were out of order which was a bit disappointing. all of the other indoor activities we looked at were fun. funny mirrors, giant Lego blocks, a dress up area with stage for performances, and so much more. Elevator was not working and we could not find food for lunch at the site so we only spent about 2 hours at the site. would have been nice to stay longer. Just remember it is all FREE and for kids, they dont care if something is not working because there is something more exciting around every corner
