Wat Bang Kung, Bang Khonthi

This is a small unique temple that has been completely surrounded by a giant tree. It quite interesting too look at from the outside. There are some other small statues around it. There is a zoo with lots of animals and some very odd things nearby which I guess are for raising interest from tour groups.

It is one of the most extraordinary temples that I have ever visited before. It is a small rectangular-shaped temple where the outer structure is covered by root of trees around the temple. The main point of offering prayer is the golden Buddha Statue inside the temple. This temple is popular and sacred, so there was large crowd of locals as well as tourists. If you all visit this province, this is one of the temples you all should never miss it at all. For me, it was worth visiting such a spiritual temple. Entry fee: free Time of travel: September 2018
