Naabi Hill, Serengeti National Park

#6 of 12 in Things to do in Serengeti National Park
Part of Serengeti National Park, Naabi Hill, offers some of the best vantage points of the vast short grasslands of the Serengeti. Covered with acacia tortilis trees, the hill provides home for antelope, elephants, and giraffes, and is also breeding grounds for cheetahs. Take a self-guided trail up to the top for great views and you may see vervet monkeys, ostriches, zebras and maybe lions. From Decembe to April, the site is the epicenter of the gnu migration. The location serves as a popular picnicking spot. • From Serengeti to Ngorongoro we passed through this area. It is a quite different area because there is less vegetation and so less animals but the landscape is beautiful.  more »
  • We had the best time in the central serengeti and we climb the naaabi hill and find the incredible view of the plain and that was the best memory that i have ever forget in my whole safari.  more »
