  • These are the kind of places I appreciate. Compared to the pier just a hundred meters away this place is actually worth seeing. The watch tower is well maintained and serves as a great landmark for Sun Moon Lake. No entrance fee!
  • Amazing! We started at the very bottom of the trail next to the lake and it is a very long walk up, but don't worry there is a short cut if you enter the trail higher up. When we finally reached the pagoda, it began raining. Although it was cloudy from up top, it is a fond memory for me.
