Kaohsiung is a beautiful city, a love of mine. The 85 tower offers much impressive views of land, mountain, and water. Seems to be obviously much better than Taipei 101. Unfortunately it rarely has visitors, definitely less than 1% of Taipei 101's visitors. That's really sad to see. It's a tragic reflection of government public policy in preferential tourism promotions. Hopefully one day this city can thrive and this place can be better appreciated.

Underrated landmark. Only 3 people including myself on the observation deck while I'm there. Gives you a good view of Kaohsiung!
