The Dajia Jenn Lann Temple, also known as the Zhenlan or Mazu Temple, is a temple to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu, the deified form of the medieval Fujianese shamaness Lin Moniang, located in the Dajia District of Taichung, Taiwan. It is known for being the start of the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage, an annual celebration of the sea goddess.

  • A busy temple with lots of worshippers and we even caught a local procession with firecrackers. Temple is open on Mondays. Definitely a must visit if your visiting Goamei wetlands but it's a bit far.....  more »
  • Amazing designs and architecture. The market is a mad house but has good food
  • Ma zhu temple. There’s a basement where it houses the gold statue. Very worth the time to pay that a visit. Many ppl praying.
