    The first church appeared on the site of the present cathedral about 900 years ago. It is true that the old building did not stand for long, and fifty years later it was replaced by a new temple, the temple that we see now. Once, it was the heart of Switzerland's largest monastery, and now attracts the attention of tourists not in the building itself, where it blends Roman and Gothic decorations, as with Schiller's bell, which inspired the poet to create a complete poem.

    An amazing museum in an amazing building, a monastery. It is clearly structured and leads you through art, history, artifacts, local industries, old rooms. Easily spend a few hours here.
