The Opale Fondation opened with two very interesting exhibition (until 31.03.2019). The first, with Yann Arthus-Bertrand, is a global retrospective of the french photographer. He is well know for is work "from the sky" and his commitment on global warming warning, but all of his work and long career is worth a look. The second, Robert Fielding, has a smaller exhibition on Aboriginal art, but is also very interesting. The restaurant of the Museum is a must try. The cuisine is Australian / Aboriginal, the service top of the line. If the weather is nice, the terrace is the perfect place to end the visit with a direct view on the lake and on the mountains !
Visited a recent exhibition and film of the work of photographer and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand. A wonderful location with an excellent restaurant. Set by the lake in Lens.
