  • Indeed, this park is really interesting from the point of view of mansions and other historical houses "themed". Ideal to spend a long day with your family, learn all sorts of things and get a good shot. Beware, a lot of dust in case of wind. Small flat: the open air museum is really big and there is no way to move electric or other once in. Visiting paths can be quickly tiring for the youngest, or especially the older ones! Fast food service quite expensive. Plan the essentials for picnicking and especially water because the fountains are not indicated as drinking...

  • We really enjoyed the park. My kids were just as intrigued as I was as a kid. The staff in the houses are all very friendly and want to pass on their knowledge. The exhibitions in the houses are top and very interesting. For them Ki, which is a great advantage, that they are allowed to touch and do a lot themselves. The reason why I didn't distribute 5 stars is the gastronomic concept and I'm not the first to write about it negatively. In the first restaurant we were weighted off by a very stressed staff member (there was no space, although there was still room outside) and on the way to the second restaurant we walked past numerous snack stalls, all of which were closed. The caterer obviously operates the following business model: Hire inept employees and open the food stalls only in high season, even worth it. It's definitely not customer-friendly. We come back to the Ballenberg but bring our food ourselves!

  • Lots to see. Take 2 days to see everything. We were there for one day with kids, this is great , some things we missed, as too far for kids to walk. History amazing, with kids you miss some of this. Very helpful staff. V friendly place
  • What a cool place! My wife and I went (without kids) and had an awesome time. Easy to spend hours here learning about Switzerland history and hanging out with animals. Plenty of food and things to do. Highly recommended!
