  • I had a wonderful time exploring the museum. However, unfortunately the ground floor was closed but there were still lots of areas to explore and best of all it was free as I didn’t go into the temporary exhibition.
  • Visiting the largest natural history museum of Switzerland is an interesting experience. The museum has a wide collection of very well presented sections, which include- animals, fossils and even dinosaurs. The museum also has a block dedicated to minerals. Apart from different types of crystals, the museum also hosts a moon stone which it received as a gift from NASA. Entry to the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle is free for public. Exception is the section dedicated to ants. One have to purchase a ticket to visit that part of the museum.
