Auer Chocolatier, Geneva

People here are super nice. They are one of a few handmade chocolate shops, with a long history. I wanted to buy the best chocolate to bring home so I bought a couple pieces from each store and tried them all before purchasing. Taste is a very personal thing. I may liked a couple other pieces from other stores slightly more but their packaging is by far the best among all shops I purchased. The saleswomen carefully assembled my hand picked box, gift packaged without me requesting it, and added layers to protect my chocolate from the heat and flying. I then purchased from rohr and Martel, but felt super lucky that I made bulk of my gift purchase from Auer. They make the best gift!

The place is very small and there is no air conditioning inside. Service was bad I told the lady i wanted a table outside she made me wait 10 minutes before she said ‘its full’. Didn’t even have the chance to sit it was too unorganized. Macdonalds and Starbucks even had a better service than that.
