  • The cable car which adds to gelmerseeis something wonderful, one of the steeper lifts in the world. But what is above the lake neighborhood is greeted even more beautiful. Beautiful 2500-3000 meters of mountains surround the lake which you can hike around. At the very end of spring, in the beginning of summer there are not many, but the high season is not crowded.

  • The gelmer funicular was a sensation, a great hike entry. I wanted to migrate to the Gelmer (2, 1 h) to enjoy the view there. The ascent is most beginning very comfortably up to the increase and I could always admire Lake Gelmer from a new perspective - the Lake is turquoise and beautiful. This route requires a lot of leg work, because the rocks are large. In the Gelmer, I was then very pleasantly surprised, because it has in the bathroom hot water and in the hut has a small but warm card (Rösti with Bacon and fried egg or cheese on toast, yummiiii). The view from the Gekmerhütte out was simply fantastic! The descent did I with another route on other def. There, it has had places where I wished to have had a wire position. The Gelmer is simply beautiful, everywhere on the edge it has blueberries and blackcurrants. Here too the hike recommended.
