  • Amazing experience, never been on a horse before but they gave me a very experienced horse so that I didn't have to guide him too much, they gave us a brief course on how to behave with them before taking us for a long ride in the nearby woods, it was dark but the moon was lighting the path and the horses knew where to go so I always felt safe, it was magic, the only noises where the horses steps and breathing, the woods where covered in snow and the moon was shining above us. After the ride we went into the sami tepee where the girls made us a brilliant typical dinner on the fireplace, we where sat on cosy reindeer skins and we talked a lot about their traditions and theyr job and also about where we came from and the differences and similarities of our cultures. Absolutely worth every penny.
  • We stayed over night as part of our honeymoon and it was unbelievable. Jenny, Sara, Kerstin & Mattis were so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I was a total riding novice but had no problems with my pony, Bertingur. We pony trekked by moon light (amazing!) and the next day had a longer trek when unseasonable weather meant dog-sledding was cancelled. It was wonder to learn about Sami culture and taste some northern cuisine. As well as the unique experiences, there's a genuinely homely feel to the farm. I don't want to say that this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience because I want to go back.
