Tiveden National Park (Swedish: Tivedens nationalpark) is a national park situated in the Tiveden forest in the municipalities of Laxå (Örebro County) and Karlsborg (Västra Götaland County), in the historical province of Västergötland in Sweden. It is administered by Naturvårdsverket and the county of Örebro, although a part of its area is located in the county of Västra Götaland. It consists of wild forest over rugged terrain. The national park was established in 1983 and the size was initially 1,350 hectares (3,300 acres). After an extension in 2017, it now covers 2,030 hectares (5,000 acres)

Hiking trough Tivedens NP makes you believe in fairy tales again... This NP is so beautiful and quit. You can hear your own heartbeat! A place to be when you visit this area of Sweden!! more »

This forest is untouched by people. It is a little bit adventurous to walk here. Ifyou are quiet, you can see squirrels, foxes, etc. Boots are recommended. There was a lot of mushrooms, blueberries... more »

Beautifully nature. We did not leave the car but just enjoyed all nature from the car. Roads in the national park are no so good.

Fantastic nature, well marked and diverse trails of differing difficulty. The camp sites and accommodations are well kept and respectfully designed. There's a great beach for swimming and easy access to multiple start points by car. Highly recommended!
