    To reach there by public transportation difficult but worth to see it. Environment is wonderful . Castle doesn’t like as a usual one but the history of Jen Mikkelsen very interesting. There is cafè also.

    We made a point of visiting the castle during the time of the guided visit (every day at 2pm in summer, only in Swedish) and the hour spent wandering through the grounds of the fortified mansion and its rooms was a delight. Our guide, Annika, who doubles as castle gardener when she is not guiding visitors inside the mansion was very detailed and thorough in her narration of various episodes from when the castle was the property of the Ehrenborg family, until - in 1988 - the state agency for historical buildings took over and undertook renovation.
