Went to El Kurru today! It was great, the paintings are wonderfully preserved and I cannot help but to imagine what other history is waiting to be discovered over there! more »

This was originally a complex of hundreds of pyramids but nature got the best of most of them. One stands tall still, and there is an adjacent tomb which you can access underground with some restored.... more »
