Dondra Head Lighthouse, Dondra

Climb to the top floor of Dondra Head Lighthouse and enjoy the views of the coastline. The 49 m (161 ft) tall lighthouse contains seven floors, having been designed in 1887 by Sir James Nicholas Douglass, and constructed by his brother, William Douglass. Palm trees surround the lighthouse, and together with the ocean create a peaceful atmosphere. As you enter, feel the history of the building, and don't hesitate to ask the staff some questions before climbing up the spiral staircase to the top.
