  • Stone bridge over Malwathu oya. In a bit remote area but very close to other main sites in Anuradhapura. Easy access.  more »
  • Stone bridge built in the early Anuradhapura kingdom. Anuradhapura kingdom was from 377 BC to 1070 AD. This is built over the Malwathu Oya (canal). Engineering was very advanced to build such a construct. Useful for primary students. It is in their text books.
  • Not the best rukn of a stone bridge. More stonehenge than the refined Anuradhapura stonemasonry. Still pretty fascinating.
