Enjoy a peaceful stroll by El Ebro, one of the most important rivers on the Iberian peninsula. The walkway is lined with trees, so there is plenty of shade on hot days. There are two bridges along the way, a modern one and a stone one with lion statues guarding the city. If you’re feeling active, head here for jogging or biking. Kayaks are available for rent, allowing you to enjoy the site from the water. While you explore, keep an eye out for the exotic birds that frequent the area. A visit to El Ebro represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Zaragoza trip itinerary planning website to plot your vacation.

  • Since it was formerly created the city of caesaraugusta the ebro river was important..., today it remains so. On its banks there is great activity and gives life to the city. Crossing the stone bridge and seeing it with the basilica in the background removes the hiccups, and from the cathedral tower the image without the river would not be the same.
