After the sun goes down, a virtual performance is projected on the stage at Caesaraugusta Theater Museum. During the daylight hours, you can take a boardwalk tour of the former theater, which once held 6,000 Roman spectators. A small educational center offers background on the discovery of the site in 1972, and the uses of the theater when the Roman Empire was at its height. • Has a modern structure above and is in the middle of a residential area but is very impressive .I was surprised to just stumble on this.  more »
  • Not expensive to go in but you can see the theatre from several spots outside. What a great find. Worth a look. Still amazed how these were built all around Europe all these years ago.  more »

  • Best of the four Roman experiences the town has to offer. You can do the four Roman sites for the price of 7€ ticket. Takes a half day
  • Not much left but it's a very informative display of the city history through the last millenials with a museum built in two areas : a walkboard outside in the theater remains, and inside a two - level museum display. Small enough to go through in an hour or so.
