Take a trip to the historical city of Zamora. Inside the city’s ancient walls are 24 Romanesque churches built in the 12th and 13th centuries. The city is so rich with this type of architecture that it has been called "a museum of Romanesque art." Visit the medieval fortress and admire superb views of the town from its keep. Stroll down one of Zamora's shopping streets to pick up a treat for yourself or souvenirs for loved ones. Stop for some tapas in one of the many restaurants and sample the local speciality, zamorano (a hard type of bun), for dessert. • A city unknown to most, but that holds many secrets, especially Romanesque secrets. You can visit many Churches built at the time and check the brilliance of the Romanesque, or to be more concise the robustness of the aforementioned art. A walk along the riverbank makes you feel unique and takes you back to a long time. To enjoy the present you approach the area of tapas and wines, at the end of the pedestrian street, there are several tascas that serve good tapas and above all good cheeses and wines denomination of origin. If you visit Zamora you will get a big surprise. Approach Toro, in two words im pressing.
