  • Lovely town. Castle is well worth a visit. Be aware that not all parts are accessible yet as it is still under construction. (plus it's free) If you get a chance, do visit the Indalo man etchings...  more »
  • No charge to enter, this is mainly the structure of the castle with little in the way of furnishings etc as they're in a museum in New York (if memory serves) but it is still very interesting to see.....  more »
  • A restoration in progress and worth a visit. You can get to the castle by car or do what we did and head up on foot through the lovely town velez blanco, quite a climb but so worth it. The views are spectacular. Then head back down to the town and drink the mountain water. It's free everyone does it, they even bring large bottles and fill them to take back home.
  • Great castle, very Game of Thrones like. Views are spectacular from windows. Shame it isn't furnished.
