Trip Planner: Europe / Spain / Castile and Leon / Province of Valladolid / Valladolid / Campo Grande
Stroll among cypress trees, fountains, flowers, and herds of tame peacocks at Campo Grande, the expansive park and botanical garden in the center of Valladolid. Take in the many bronze statues and go for a leisurely walk around the pond, where you can feed the geese, ducks, and fish. Families might enjoy a boat ride with a boatman who tells interesting stories as he rows along. There's also an extensive playground with jungle gyms and several different sections. Thanks to the three aviaries, you'll find pheasants, roosters, and pigeons in addition to the famous peacocks. Avid readers will enjoy the small library complete with sitting area. The park is well connected by bus and just a five-minute walk from Plaza Mayor. To visit Campo Grande on your trip to Valladolid, use our Valladolid vacation planner.

Love this park! Was just walking through and didn't realise peacocks were everywhere! Amazing! Gorgeous animals that are looked after and taken care of. The park as well is taken good care of and is in beautiful condition. A perfect place to stroll through, have an ice cream, read a book or sit and listen to nature. Loved it!
The place is wonderful! So interesting, so many cute animals, which aren't afraid people, and many plants and benches. However, there aren't toilets that is a little inconvenient.
