  • Quiet walk along the entire perimeter of the volcano, also suitable for children, where you can admire the lava colates, the gigantic volcanic bomb and take some nice photos!!

  • On the road to Tinajo, in front of the volcano El Cuervo and within the Natural Park of the Volcanoes is Montaña Colorada, the last volcano that exploded during the eruptions of the Timanfaya in the eighteenth century. It owes its name to the intense reddish color it presents, which is due to the presence of iron oxides in the composition of the lava and its fame is due to that large volcanic bomb that came out of its entrails and that is located a hundred meters from its cusp. With wonderful views as we make the circular route of the volcano, it seems that we are entering another planet. (I couldn't climb to the cusp by the prevailing wind on the day of the visit, but I'll be back)
