  • Very nice monastery, the image of Christ is worth to see it, a hidden gem of a stunning realism, will not leave you indifferent. To the side there is a small souvenir shop carrying the nuns of the monastery where you will see very friendly and amicably. The next time that you are in the area I will pass again.

  • Impressive carving of the Blessed Christ of the victory of Serradilla. It Is a baroque Christ venerated in the convent of the Augustinian recollect mothers of Serradilla. It Is a living, resurrected Christ with the traces of Passion. Impressive The realism of the scars of Passion and crown of thorns. It Is an image that moves to piety, to prayer and to penance. Highly recommended visit.

  • The Cristo de la Victoria Shrine is a cloistered convent of Augustinian Recollect nuns located in the town of Serradilla. It is the image of the Blessed Christ of Victory. The Convent was an old hospital that lasted until the 17TH century. In The year 1635, the Blessed Francisca of Oviedo and Palacios commissioned the sculptor from Madrid Domingo de Rioja to carry Out an image of Christ for the chapel of the hospital. At the end of the carving, Domingo de Rioja was so impressed that he came to say that this work was not his, but of God. Fourteen years after the arrival of the Holy Christ in Serradilla, Francisca de Oviedo founded the convent and sanctuary that exists today.
