  • In the previous opinion I confused Yuso's with Suso's, and I have thought of the latter, rather than the one they asked, so now I'll do it the other way around. This Monastery (now if Yuso's) is spectacularly large, the guided tour was very interesting and the monastery we loved, see those books of the first glares, I found it wonderful. And also in the evening we had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant of the hostel, highly recommended as well. And sorry for the confusion

  • I say live in a cave you can call it that,St Millan lived in it, a cave that gave rise to a temple and this to a monastery where for the first time some copyists translated into Spanish and Basque the first full paragraphs and with strict sense , by the way you will see the passage of time and how the temple passes through from the Visigoth contributions the Arabs and Gothics. that if they left what now these times would be graffiti and are considered history

  • Beautiful monastery, must see in La Rioja. The chant books are real relics, also an ark from the XI century. Everything is very well preserved, so please be respectful! I saw people touching drawings hundred years old... 🤦‍♂️ 4/5* only because it needs some work regarding accessibility. There are elements like wooden ramps that do not modify the architecture, so preservation is not an excuse.
  • In my opinion the hotel conveys a Peacefull and relaxing vibe. Rooms are Large and Elegant from other time yet well kept and charming. Nice and warm service to make one comfortable.
