  • Access is not easy, not equipped for people with reduced mobility, or baby strollers. The maintenance and care of the environment and accesses are very improveable, so the competent administrations should consider it. Very deteriorated information panel, not readable. The views are very good on clear days, privileged enclave to see the barbally places

  • Beautiful castro in a place so strategic that it was chosen more than 2500 years ago for the settlement of a human community belonging to the call and known as Castreña culture. Therefore, it is one of the oldest in Galicia. He's very well protected from external attacks. On the one hand, on their north and west faces there are embankments that make it very difficult to make the ascent to this acropolis. On the east and south side it is protected by natural rocks as a defensive wall.

  • It has good views, both towards Ribeira and the Dunes of Corrubedo. To reach the castro is signposted, you climb from the Mirador da Rá by a small stony slope. " A village of more than 2,500 years. The Castro da Cidá is a set of impressive ruins of a large fortified settlement of the time known as the Iron Age. Occupying the top of the mountain, with spectacular visibility over the entire environment, the site rises protected by 3 lines of wall where the upper one brings together a series of circular, square and oval huts visible today. The archaeological site covers more than 20,000 m2, currently having researched a small portion of the total. Beneath the ground are still hidden many undiscovered secrets of the ancestors of this part of the Barbanza."
