Start down at Portman and join the Roman road up by the mini roundabout. From there it is an easy walk for about half a k in the shade under the pines before the road gets steeper and a bit more... more »

An easy and relaxing walk. Not very impressive visually, but it is a good chance to go hiking with kids to teach some history. You cannot step on an ancient Roman road very often. A nice way to enjoy.... more »
