A wonderful beach, sandy but with the odd rock. There is nudity so if that offends you do not go. There are regularly beach patrols that ensure unwelcome people are kept off including dog walkers... more »

Walked this beach every morning and evening into Jandia - never crowded, clean as a pin and sea views to die for at sun rise. Watch out for the occasional naturist if you are the shy & retiring sort ! more »

Magnificent place! The sea level between low and high tide makes the landscape to transform completely. Both moments have their own beauty. Worth spending a whole day here just to see the greatness of the island. There are not too many shops around so better to came prepared with all you need. Bring water, an umbrella for shade. There are plenty of spots between dunes to sit down and to be safe from wind. Anyway the wind is not strong. Perfect place for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Splendid!
