Parc Natural de la Serra d'Irta, Peniscola

It's a beautiful natural park with plenty of paths and trails to follow. It is not only popular with walkers but mountain bikers too. For the most part the trails are marked although some areas are lacking, leading to confusion. There is a downloadable map available but path crossroads could also benefit from a basic map board to work out where to go when combining trails. Phone signal is weak to non existent and you need to take water.

Beautiful natural place, we have now walked there on 3 occasions, a different part of track each time. Coastal track not well signposted but some lovely coves, and nobody else around. Saw some bikes and runners on track to Bodum tower and St Antoni's hermitage. Beautiful coastal views well worth the hike. No facilities at all so make sure you take everything you could need with you.
